It's hard to believe the time has come, but my third novel, Right Cross, is finally here! Okay, so technically it releases tomorrow, but I couldn't be more excited to share this story with you. John Cross and Christine Lewis are in for a wild ride as their story comes to a close (or does it? ;)). I realize I might be a little biased, but I think this is the best one yet. And I liked the last two! (It'd probably be weird if I didn't, right?)
When I wrote the first draft of A Cross to Kill, I didn't envision further books in a series though I wasn't completely opposed to the idea. So when Kregel Publications invited me to pitch two additional books, I had my work cut out for me. As I thought about the first story, I saw it as confined to the inner turmoil of John Cross with the action almost seeking him out in the Central Virginia countryside. So for the second book,Cross Shadow, I liked the idea of pulling John away and throwing him into a mystery plot in a big city. We also got more of Christine and her arch as she started her journey into Christian faith. As I moved on to the third, I wanted to go to the next level and make it much more of a global thriller in the vein of the Mission:Impossible movies. The stakes are extremely high, the locations are all new, and we are introduced to really fun new characters (but don't worry; the old characters get to still be involved as well!).
There are so many things in Right Cross that I'm so excited for you to read, so what are you waiting for? Go get your copy today! You can find a bunch of helpful links to retailers on the book's page (click on the link above, or head to www.andrewhuffbooks.com/right-cross). And once you've read it, send me a note and let me know what you think! I'm so grateful for Kregel Publications, for my agent and editors, and especially for you the reader for supporting me in this publication journey. I hope you enjoy the ride!
Yay! Thanks for the update!
This whole series was awesome! (What a thrilling ride!) I'm planning on going through all the books again with my mom someday soon.
I was very interested in your excerpt for the first book of another series as well! Will we get to see more books from you in the near future?
Thanks for putting some quality Christian Suspense out there!
